Jeffrey is a registered architect and general contractor in Florida. He is a graduate of Pratt Institute, School of Architecture (1980). Upon graduation he was the recipient of the American Institute of Architects Medal of Excellence in Architectural Education, a distinction given to only one graduating architectural student in an accredited school of architecture. Jeffrey has designed schools, museums, religious communities, historic renovations, restaurants, multi family housing and private residences. His aesthetic is influenced form his diverse cultural upbringing. Raised in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles, educated in New York city and Boston and having traveled at the early age of 3 to places all over the world gives him a unique approach to design evolved from an informed and experienced understanding of art and architecture. In the last 20 years the firm’s focus has been on residential design, which has garnered many American Institute of Architects Honor awards and recognition in many publications, to include, Dwell, Interior design, Florida Design, Home, Tropic, Miami Home & Design, The Miami Herald, The Sun Sentinel and The Palm Beach Post. In 2010 Florida Trend named Jeffrey one of the 5 cutting edge architect’s to watch in Florida. In 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 Ocean Home Magazine named Silberstein Architecture one of the top 50 coastal architects in the USA and one in seven top architects in Florida. Jeffrey resides in his AIA award winning home in Delray Beach. He is married to Rosemary and has two daughters Angelica, Sarah, a granddaughter Stella Rose, a grandson Jack James and his son in law Jeff. Jeffrey is fluent in several languages.
